Popcorn Sales  Annual Cake Sale Coat & Clothing Drive Pinewood Derby Blue & Gold Scout Show

Cub Scout Day Camp Magness Adventure Camp

 

Popcorn Fundraiser

    Starts:  Tuesday, September 8th.

    Where:  Anywhere!  Show and Sell Details coming soon!

    Who:  Scouts 

    What:  Popcorn Sale Fundraiser

Each scout must sell a predetermined number of  items to fund their participation in the Pack.  Detailed information will be delivered at the September Pack meeting.

Dates to Remember:

Oct. 6: Turn in order forms & prize requests to Den Leaders.

Oct. 13: Den Leaders turn in all packets to the Paul Barton.

Nov 1: Pick up Merchandise at Paul Barton's house. 

Dec. ??: All money due to your Den Leader.

Dec. ??: Den Leaders turn in all money to Popcorn Sale Organizer (to be determined).

 

Annual Cake Sale

    When:  Monday, November 10th.

    Where:  Meet at the Larkspur Elementary School, (Pack Meeting)

    Who:  Scouts & parents 

    What:  Annual Pack Fundraiser

Dads (or Moms) and scouts bake a cake to be auctioned off at the Pack meeting.

This years theme is: To be Announced.

Scouts will get a participation patch for attending one of the Saturdays and helping with the effort.

Coat and Clothing Drive

    When:  Monday, November 3rd thru November 26th.

    Where:  Larkspur Elementary School.

    Who:  Co-operative effort between Pack 631 and Larkspur Elementary School.

Get ready for the 2nd annual Coat and Clothing collection effort here in Larkspur Elementary School!   We will be collecting coat and clothing articles from Monday, November 3rd thru November 26th for the Lakota Indian Reservation in South Dakota. 

 

Pinewood Derby

    When:  Saturday, January 24th, 9:00am thru 12:00pm.

    Where:  Meet Larkspur Elementary School.

    Who:  Scouts & parents 

    What: Pine Derby Car Races!

 

           Pinewood Derby Details to be determined by the Pinewood Derby    Committee!             

           (Representatives needed from each den to organize this Event)                    

The Pinewood Derby will be in the Larkspur Elementary School Gym on Saturday, January 24, beginning at 9:00 a.m.   A portion of the gym will be roped off to allow the boys who are racing, and race officials, to move along the track.  Please respect this area, and also allow a clear view to families of boys in a racing heat.  Have a seat if your son isn't racing.  Back by popular demand, the Adult "Unlimited Classification" Pinewood Derby race will be held after all of the Scouts have raced.  See the (few) rules for this race later in this packet.  At the completion of the races, all awards will be given, and this will be the time for pictures.  The 6 special awards will be given at that time. 

 

Blue & Gold Banquet

    Starts:  Saturday, February 7th, 11:00am thru 2:30pm.

    Where:  Larkspur Fire Station

    Who:  Scouts & Families

    What:  Blue & Gold Pack Meeting and Banquet.

Blue & Gold Details to be determined by the Blue & Gold Committee! (Representatives needed from each den to organize this Event)

 

Scout Show

 

    When:  Saturday, April 24.

    Where:  National Western Complex, Hall of Education .

    Who:  All Scouts and Family Members. 

    What:  Scout Activities: Packs and Troops represented from all

                   over the state!

             

Cub Scout Day Camp-2004

 

    Starts:  To be Determined

    Where: Various Locations (see details page)

    Who: Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts and parents)

    What:  3 Days of DayCamp

 

Magness Adventure Camp - 2004

 

    Starts:  June, 2004 thru Aug. 2004

    Where: Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch

    Who: Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts and parents)

    What:  3 Day Overnight camp (see details page)

 

Magness Adventure Camp offers a unique age specific, grade appropriate, exciting program for all youth and adults who attend. Campers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of programs including sports, handicrafts, nature, swimming, boating, and a whole lot more. Some of what we do is advancement oriented, but most activities are just done for fun.
